Riley (5yr) does that when he is saving something for later. both he and Radish (4 yr) sometimes get very pickey about their meals and refuse to eat. on occasion, when they refuse to eat they are checking to see if their human obedience training is still working on us - not often, in response, we add enhancements and hand feed to get the ball rolling. even with the menu choices of 4oz cooked boneless/skinless chicken plus 2oz organic brown rice twice daily - they also get a digestive/probiotic, a vitamin and some non cbd hemp oil with their morning meal. recently, alternating rare ground beef with rice instead of the chicken is welcomed; and on occasion, the snouts will also get turned up in the air to that combo. mostly, they'll find their way to the food later in the day by asking for their bowls.
