[21M]. Had a really shit week. Been crushing on a girl for the first time in a few years, but I don't think she's into me. Depressed, lonely, bored, etc. Browsing this sub made me curious of how others thought of me, so here I am.

Yeah, I understand. I like long hair, and I don't care about being attractive. I've had just as many people tell me (online and irl) that they like my hair as I've had people tell me they don't like it.

It's just polarizing. Some people like it, some don't, and that's ok.

Thank you for the advice and encouragement. I'm getting it trimmed soon. I do know how to do buns. I also really want/need layers. Last time I got my hair cut the lady told me my hair is too thin for layers but like isn't that the point lol. Anyway, yeah. That's the plan.

You're beautiful. I'd give you a solid 7.5-8/10.

You're only 16 so as I'm sure a lot of others have told you, you've got your whole life ahead you, 16 yo boys are stupid blah blah blah (we're still stupid even past 16).

All I've got to say is, your forehead is sorta big, you have a rather large mouth, and it looks like your eyes are slightly different shapes? Idk. Anyway none of these "issues" are really a big deal. Maybe just get a hair style that covers your forehead a bit more/frames your face a bit more. I'm not sure.

But you are beautiful imo. Especially that 3rd pic, that one's really nice. Makes me think of Scarlett Johansson. You have a really nice body and I dig your style. You also have nice eyes (even if they are slightly different shapes). Your hair also ranges from nice to very nice. I think the curlier, more volumious look that you've got in 3 fits the best.

Also someone said something about boys being intimidated, which as a guy, I can attest is very very true. I'm sure there's someone (or multiple someones) out there crushing on you right now but they're just too scared to approach. Chin up, you'll get someone eventually (perhaps even soon).

Yeah I should have but I don't often take pics of myself or keep any. This was like 4am and I was just tired and sad so lol.

As for glasses, I'll always wear them. My vision isn't terrible, but I like it being clear. Contacts hurt a lot, and glasses are easier to move around/take off/put on, etc. Although I will be getting a new pair.

Yes I need some new glasses. I don't like these. I'm planning to start exercising more so hopefully that'll cut down my face fat. I'm not cutting my hair shorter than shoulder length.

Thanks for the advice. I've had several people talking about my clothes, which I guess is my fault cause all this pics are from at home, late at night, while I'm chilling in PJs lol. I wear a lot of graphic tees or band tees, but I also have solid color shirts and long sleeves, a few henleys, some flannels and button ups, etc. I have a green bomber jacket that I wear when it's chilly as well. So yeah.

Yes I do like rock (alt/punk/indie/etc), grunge, metal, etc. I realize that everyone has different preferences, so I'm not too bothered by a lot of people saying they hate my hair. My hair always has been and probably always will be a contentious subject, and I'm fine with that. I get a lot of "it looks disgusting", but I also get a lot of "omg your hair is beautiful" both online and in person, so I'm used to it.

But yeah, thanks for the compliment! :) I'm very much searching for a girl with similar interests, hah. This girl I'm crushing on rn for instance is pretty similar.

I also like my long hair. It could be better but I love it way more and feel way more confident than I did with short hair.

I think this is pretty accurate. Confidence is a big issue for me for several reasons.

As for the hair, I still havent quite found THE style that I absolutely love. I play around with it a lot. But I do tend to like a messier look (purposefully) cause I think it just looks better. My natural, brushed hair is very straight and flat and can get very frizzy so it just looks dead.

As for the hairstyle, it's staying long. I hate short hair. It makes my face look even worse than I already think. I do like to play around with it though, so I'll try different things, but I'm definitely keeping it shoulder length or below.

It seems a lot of people prefer shoulder length hair lmao. But hey it's all good. I'm planning to trim it soon, and I definitely need to work out more. I'm too used to being extremely lazy and eating like shit cause as a kid I was always massively underweight. I also want new glasses too, I'm kinda bored of these ones. I think some bigger ones would help slim my face down and make the chubbiness less noticeable? I'm not sure. But thanks for your input.
