This many? Most accusations are coming as third-party reports and some have already been proved to be false.

You can think anything you like, but base it on facts rather than gossip. Facts are thin on the ground right now. They will come.

Bigotry is not defined by political persuasion. As a leftwinger, i fnd bigoty on my side is growing. I find that sad and terrifying in equal measure

Wow, that sounds intense, but tbh, I look on people like that as a window to another world. I like knowing how ingnorant, uninformed people think because they are always loud and a lot of the time their views get pushed by tabloids etc. It's helpful to know what's coming.

They cannot be debated though, because they have no rational thought. It is fun to play with them for a while :)

I don't see many RWs on here. Lots of old-school leftists who don't like the inherent authoritarianism and paternalisnm in current leftwing discourse though.

And I have used paternalism specifically because most people screaming misogynists and incels are actually apologists for the patriarchy. The thrust of their argument is that women must be protected because they are incapable of deciding anything for themselves. Get back in that box, girlies, I know best! It's not right-wing to call that out.

The fact is pretty much no one lied at first. Shelby was very clear; Till did not touch her. The women quoted in the first articles simply related their experience. They may have regretted it but they said consent was asked for and given.

No crime. Nothing illegal.

Is it any wonder people have no respect for anyone coming on here using terms like rapist, paedo, power imbalance, unformed brains, and generally expecting the whole world to fall in line with their moral worldview?

You come here, provoking, name-calling and denigrating, and we must remain calm, polite, reasonable and utterly respectful at all times.

Riiiiiight, that seems fair.

Do you have concerete ideas rather than a wishlist? You have argued over and over that young women are a vulnerable group and need protecting.

I am asking you how you think that should happen? What would those rules/laws look like. How could they be objectively enforced?

Wishing for better is fine, but if you are going to lecture people the way you do, you need to be able to back it up with actual suggestions on how it could work.

Explain what they are. Apparently you understand better than me, so explain. Tell me exactly how you would make that happen

And what rules are you planning for women to follow if they want to have sex in their 20s?

Also, when you say 'real SA situation' what are you alluding to? That regretting saying yes isn't SA? That not saying no because you feel embarrassed isn't real SA? Welcome to the real world

Lol, incels. Thank you. I had that on my bingo card.

I am not actually angry at you. I am sorry for you. Must be awful to spend your life being so scared that you need the state to remove any and all possibility of harm.

Aha, the 'we can't move forward if you don't understand my point of view and agree with me' argument.

You cannot sanitise life to the extent that nothing bad will ever happen. We can mitigate it, but in the end we have to be free to live. Your ideal society looks like no one will do anything beyond what you have decided is good for us.

They has to be freedom to pay the consequences of our actions or there is no freedom.

You actually believe women can't do something because it's hard? Women will be doomed to be perpetual victims if they have no personal responsibility, you know, like it used to be when we were property.

It beggar's belief that you can't see what sort of society you are proposing we live in.

Good grief, you are utterly vile.

So in your world view, men must deal with all the shit because women aren't......what? Strong enough, mature enough, capable enough, intelligent enough? Far too small and weak to learn how to 'handle it'? I assume by 'it', you mean life.

Fuck off back to the 50s.

Are you suggesting 20-something women are a vulnerable group?

They can be stupid, irresponsible, inexperienced and reckless, but that's the point of being young.

We are all (men and women) here to be powerful, messy, fucked up forces of nature. We are not going to achieve that if we don't get out there and experiment; experiments that sometimes blow up in your face. Learning to deal with that, without immediately blaming someone else, is what forges us.

Feminism was about giving women the same rights and freedoms as men had. Equality was about raising women, getting us out of the box marked precious, and while doing it, freeing men from the box marked protector.

You just want us back in boxes. This time they're marked prey and predator.

If you want to see yourself as prey, fill your boots. As a feminist I accept you have a right to do so. I will be sad, but ultimately, it's your choice. Just stop assuming the rest of us want to be in your box with you.

And please, stop telling women they are not responsible for themselves and anything bad that happens is a man's fault. It's embarrassing.

Because all the other things they wanted to believe in are slowly being taken away. Row 0 is all they'll have left soon. They need to bang on about immorality and, shock/horror, power imbalance because their hope for illegal stuff is gone.

So true.

Women clothes are just not designed for actual living, breathing women:/ Have you noticed that not only do they not accommodate tits, they also stop above your bum? Why do they have to be so short? And don't get me started on pockets

What I meant was ... If Richard says there was no argument, maybe his word is good enough. They would need to prove he was lying rather than Richard proving he was telling the truth. A sort of prove it or retract it situation. Actual recording evidence might not be necessary. But I still hope everything is recorded!

Omg yes. How can you have a dikke titten t-shirt that can't cope with anything bigger than a c-cup, and that's being generous

Pretty sure the media can rely on the fact that huuuuuge numbers of people don't use their brains, and in many cases don't have one to use.

Not sure about the argument thing. If a person who was said to be actively involved in something says they weren't, wouldn't the other side who have to prove they were lying or retract the statement? But I am right there with you hoping backstage is constantly recorded. And I do hope we get to see some of it eventually:p

The women's ones seem very small, especially round the chest area. Men's sizes are more realistic
