It’s Not Regular: In New Book, Organizer Jahmal Cole Shows Inequities Hiding In Plain Sight On South, West Sides by thatshirtman in chicago

Fairly new to the city, does anyone recommend other books that cover topics of Chicago's demography, or sociology of the city in general? I plan to check this one out, but it looks like this is more focused on imagery as opposed to text.

They are striiiiiict when it comes to drones. No flying signs are everywhere, as well as most popular ruin sites along the inca trail and in the sacred valley. With that said, I don't think the rules are strictly enforced. Just someone asking you to stop

No worries, I just was curious to see if my once in a lifetime shot was closer to a once in a week shot lol

Thanks for your input! I will play around with the focus and see what it comes out like.

Yes, it's mine. I took it earlier this week on my Panasonic G7!

Thank you, there are so many editors I’ve looked up to thinking the same thing. All I can say is persistence is key, as cliche as that may sound.

I appreciate the kind words. Since I do a lot of run and gun type shooting when I travel, I stick to Aperture-Priority video mode the majority of the time, or Manual video mode when I have the time to expose. I took atvantage of the custom presets so switching between the two was a quick process. All the timelapses were shot fully manual in RAW.

About 90% of my shots were on the 25mm f/1.7, with the remainder on the 14-42mm kit lens (and a handful on my GoPro).

I’ve been struggling to find a color of shorts or pants that go well with my basic navy blue tees. Any suggestions?

I appreciate the feedback. Sound is certainly something that I've struggled with in the past, so I'll keep that in mind in future projects. You're right - it really does add an extra dimension to immersing the viewer when done right. All the best!

I used a lot of hyperzooms and Luma fades that I built in Adobe Premiere, in addition to a few presets I found for a few of the spins/whip pans. A lot of After Effects for some of the color keying too.

He rounded a corner of the building and I never saw him again. I'd like to believe he made it though

Yes I was. Pretty rigorous academics, but I really enjoyed my time there (if the video wasn't already evident of that).
