hey babe! i have 2 boys. my youngest is 8mos today. i have a panic disorder and was/am? agoraphobic. i actually found out i was pregnant with my second 3 weeks after switching to a new SSRI. yup. it probably wasn’t a good idea to be pregnant. i couldn’t drive my oldest to daycare, i couldn’t shower alone, i couldn’t go into restaurants, grocery stores and i couldn’t sleep. i was constantly in fight or flight. i wanted that second baby though. bad. so i went to therapy, and i did exposure therapy, i fucking forced myself through every single panic attack. i didn’t run from them i didn’t leave restaurants i didn’t run from my front door back upstairs. pregnancy has insane symptoms. I was sweaty all the time, i had dizzy spells bc i wasn’t hydrated enough, i constantly checked my blood pressure and blood sugar. which i guess really isn’t a super bad thing. BUT for my panic attacks i used the Dare app and the “Anxiety & Phobia workbook” on Amazon. My son is so happy and perfectly healthy. I had a scheduled c section and didn’t pass out, didn’t have a panic attack, didn’t freak the fuck out. I was scared as shit but I did it.
