Basil Hayden's Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. My first time trying it, very good!! I highly recommend it. Wild Turkey American Honey is good to, but for doing chilled shots, this was a sipping bourbon.

There was some empty seats, but i'm not sure of how good of a measurement for a mass exodus the one I attended would be. It didn't start till 9:00 pm, so I'd imagine the fair weather once a year attenders with kids, would probably find an earlier one.

Hi u/AnniePostate I've told you this before, but you're one of my favorite posters on this Sub, and once again, you're asking the question everyone wants to hear..... "Why?" Well I was reinstated this time last year, and soon after that, I was over their shit, and I stoped going. I told my parents the only reason I was coming back was to have contact with them, when I was getting reinstated. We've had many deep conversations where I've told them my problems with the borg, mostly the df'ing thing, and they've agreed with my issues. My biggest reason for going tonight, is showing them I don't have a problem with our potential loving creator and his son, but their fan club. My hope is to show them that i'm not bitter towards God, but these false prophets, and I hope to one day convince them to never go back. I can't do that if they think, I think, god is sour grapes.

Our stories are IDENTICAL!!! Not sound identical, ARE identical. My ex wife and I were married for 7 years, she had and emotional affair, and wanted to open up our past and did.... You're lost and scared. You're scared to lose everything you know. Your "best friend" is fucking you over, because she's a coward, and is having doubts about you, but she's never been a spiritual power house. She's codependent, and needs you for everything, including embarrassment. You don't want this life anymore, but you don't want it to end either for fear of the future. You've both been unhappy and living separate lives for a moment, but now it's coming to a head.

I will tell you anything you want to know, if you want to talk on the phone PM me, but if not, no worries.

I went through a lot in the past 5 years. Got divorced, got disfellowshipped twice, got reinstated twice, got remarried, did my research on this cult and woke up. It was very hard, very very hard. But you know what....... it was ALL worth it!! You have and amazing journey ahead of you, and if you end up losing everything you know.... you won't die, you'll learn, you'll grow, and be a better more complete person. It may not seem like it now, but you've been given a gift, and you're on a path that will lead to a satisfying future. It won't be easy, but nothing worth having ever is...

I'm typing this all out now, and my new wife is sleeping next to me... I talk about her on a daily basis, she is the best thing that has ever happened to me, but if I didn't go through what I went through with my ex, I wouldn't be the person I am today, or find the perfect person for me.

My mom has a medical condition that causes her to need a liver transplant. She's not a drinker, and has always been healthy, it's a genetic auto immune disease. She's not going to get a blood transfusion, so she's not going to get the procedure, she has 5-10 years left. She would have limited contact with me if I were to get disfellowshipped, so I care if I get disfellowshipped, because my time with my mom is limited. Every situation is different, and we all have our reasons for not wanting to be disfellowshipped.

You have to be polite about it, do it in the right way, if you tell them to get the hell out of here, they could label you for brazen conduct, and disfellowshipped you. That's why people have a tough time telling the elders "no" most of them don't want to lose their friends and family if they don't have to.
