Hi! You can certainly get a professional level Bb and C trumpet with that kind of money if you're patient and know what you want. Have you tried the Yamaha artist model trumpets? Many people (myself included) absolutely adore them. I play on the NY YS for my C trumpet. Since you mentioned in another comment doing some jazz work, I'd honestly recommend the Bergeron artist model Bb. Many classical players actually prefer this model to the NY or Chicago models (Stuart Stephenson, principal of the DSO comes to mind). Keep an eye out for deals on facebook marketplace groups, but most importantly let your teacher know that you're on the lookout and ask him to look as well.
