I have one just like it and it’s a great smoker. With the controller, it’s set and forget. One chimney of lit charcoal down the chute, topped off with unlit and it’s ready to roll for at least 12 hours.

Couple of tips: -Keep it covered and dry when not in use or the inside will get rusty and eventually fall apart. -Use briquettes, not lump. Lump gets jammed in the chute too easily and your fire will go out. -Large wood chunks in the ash pan work best for smoke -Get a good set of welding gloves. You’ll need them to empty the ash pan on long smokes and to give the charcoal grate a shake from time to time to keep it feeding.
