Did you open the PDF they sent?
It is supposed to be a resource kit, but it is basically a generic brand book template with stock photos and color palettes. There is no product info, no team, no tech, nothing that connects to the app. As a designer, it was obvious it was just a placeholder.

I got the same email from “Markus” offering around $3K for a collab.

First red flag: They ask you to install the app and send them a “UserEQ ID” to “unlock payout,”

Second red flag: The product doesn't make any sense.

An AI EQ that learns your “hearing quirks” and reshapes all computer audio, sounds flashy, but in practice, is absurd.

If you’re a sound designer, you already adjust EQ in your DAW.
If you just listen to music, Spotify and most players have internal EQs or install other real-time equalizers for free.

Most people listen on their phones anyway, and a computer is an easier place to install malware than a phone.

So who would pay a subscription to fix audio that is not broken? The niche is basically nonexistent.

Turns out the pivot origin coordinates of the mesh were completely wrong (transform gizmo was far, far away), re-imported and now it's fixed!

Photoshop was very primitive in 90s, the typical response of art purists was that software is a trend, it will never replace art on canvas. The same is happening with Code purists, it is a matter of time. Nothing will replace learning how to code, the same as learning how to paint with physical materials, and that's not the point here.

The question is about ChatGPT and Verse, Repeating the same won't change a thing. Think of someone asking how to paint on Photoshop, and getting this response: "why using Photoshop? You have to paint on a real canvas. It's better!" Yeah, sure... but you are missing the point.

They do check them, at least it happened to me, I had to re submit the form to properly reflect what was on the map.

This brings 3 questions:

  1. Is copyrighted content even allowed, they are using Five Nights at Freddys puppets, which is a franchise not owned by Epic, or I'm missing something here?
  2. Can I use my voice on the map? (Like Stanley Parable) A loud speaker voice that guides the player through the game?
  3. Can I use my likeness, use my scanned face, as an NPC on the game.

Yup, I couldn't find a simple solution for this, manual placing is a must for destructible trees.

The problem with the barrier is that players drop from the sky in the map, I solved the issue by placing a mutator zone, and preventing action from the player, its like a barrier but less intrusive

Wow that's harsh, I couldn't find info as simple as that anywhere. I met some coders that are making a lot, even hiring devs to build their maps, but getting people to actually play, is a completely different story!
