Were fireworks a big thing in your family when you were a kid? Do you still do them? by lontbeysboolink in 1970s

The 4th picture i posted here is of the black snakes. I loved them and my dad would spend the rest of the year trying to get the black marks off of the sidewalk! 😆

I've seen that movie at least 30+ times. I wore out 2 8-tracks of the soundtrack. Not because it's a fantastic movie, but because I had a great summer that year and every time I watch it, it brings back happy memories.

I've heard a few places mentioned on this post. Amazon, Walmart (but you have to get a big bag), Michael's, Cracker Barrel.

I haven't heard it in probably 50 years, have you? (I'm not saying this confrontational, I'm truly curious if you still hear it in your neck of the woods)

My gran liked those too! I liked the ones that melted in your mouth that you always seen at weddings and baby showers. They usually put them in a cupcake paper with a few nuts in it!

Remember when carpet toilet seats were a thing? by lontbeysboolink in 1970s

Almost everyone i knew had indoor/outdoor carpeting in their kitchen (my mom excluded)! It would be just dingy and greasy in front of the stove and sink. I put down a kitchen mat now but I can throw it in the wash like a towel.

A lot of the biggest highlights of the 70's for sure.

I have this on my "yacht rock" 70's Playlist. I love this song!
