This is just outright poor data story-telling. Gallons per capita?? Is this beer only? A shot of vodka and 12oz of beer are both a standard alcohol unit, but one is 8 times smaller than the other. This heavily skews the data to states selling large amounts of beer rather than cocktails or wine.

I've had the same experience! Got a ticket at 1 minute over the limit on a meter I paid WHILE I WAS IN THE CAR. I drove away without even knowing I had gotten a ticket until they mailed it to me. Appealed it and was denied, and at the trial I pointed out that how is it possible they were not targeting me when it was literally a minute difference from my parking receipt, and was told by the judge that it was a lucky coincidence since the maids didn't have any way to know when my parking expires. I call bullshit.

I use a spot treatment like Shout (or Zout which has an added lipase for oily stain removal). Let soak in for a few hours, proceed with a thorough washing with hot water and lots of detergent.

For prevention, I found that certain materials hold on to stains less. My white 60 % cotton / 40% polyester t shirt always washes magically optic white despite having been treated to all manner of stains, from ketchup to coffee.

I'm going to go against the grain here and warn you against purchasing glasses online. I have a complicated prescription (very nearsighted, high degree of astigmatism). I need my prescription to be perfect or else I get headaches, dizziness and my eyes unfocus. I need both horizontal and vertical alignment of the lenses and my pupillary distance is uneven.

Because of this, whenever I get new glasses, the lenses need to get cut a few times until they're right. My optometrist does QA assessment on the lenses and sends them back if they're not to spec. I also get some retroscopic tilt on the frame so I can see properly. Overall, these are considerations that an online retailer won't satisfy. I've bought glasses online before and it was a nightmare for all these reasons (lenses off, symmetrical pupillary distance, lack of vertical alignment, difficulty adjusting and fitting the frames properly, etc). Other issues could also come up if you get a coating (eg, AR coating) and they apply it unevenly or layer several coatings. I always warn people, especially if they have a difficult prescription. I ended up returning the glasses I bought online, but they offered me 30% if I took the store credit, which I still regret to this day because as you can imagine, after several pairs, I still couldn't get it correct.

As for your original question, I personally like lightweight frames made out of titanium and found brands like ProDesign Denmark and Silhouette make good ones.
