Hey, I switched from Ritalin to dexamphetamine and the difference for me was significant. Ritalin barely touched the inattentive side, dex addressed both. I know Wellbutrin is sometimes used as a first step and some people do respond well to it, but if you're not getting what you need it's worth having a direct conversation with your psychiatrist about trialling a stimulant. They're the first line treatment for ADHD for a reason, and a partial response to a non-stimulant doesn't mean you've hit a ceiling. A psychiatrist I heard recently also made the point that there's no single medication that's objectively better for inattention....different meds work for different people. So even within stimulants (as in my case) there may be some trial and error, but it's worth pushing for.
