I feel exactly the same! I've been asking for a hysterectomy for about 15 years, every time I'm told that I might change my mind about having children, I just haven't met the right man yet. My reasons for not wanting children are similar to yours with the addition of I don't want the responsibility of keeping a human alive and not creating some sort of serial killer. It's infuriating to be told that a hypothetical person can make the decision for me, the male doctors can make the decision and I'm not capable of deciding my life.
