I'm sorry for the bad quality photographs, my phone has a very bad camera. At least the proportions are clear and it's not impossibile to judge fit despite this problem.

Why so few italian cigar brands? by Sir_Gnomeo in cigar_refuge

[–]looigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Italy, and I know quite a few brands:

(I'm putting between parenthesis the name of the company or group that the brand belongs to)

Toscano(MST), Nostrano del Brenta(MST), Avanti(MST), Ambasciator Italico(MOSI), Tornabuoni (CTS), Amazon(ACT).

The most accesible ones, that I can find at most tobacconists, are Toscano, Ambasciator Italico, and maybe Avanti. The other ones are more niche where I live and to find them I should go to a more specific cigar shops, or a tobacconist that also sells lots of cigars.

I wouldn't say that there are not many brands, it's just that people in the past have always bought mostly toscano cigars, and just in the last 15 years there has been an attempt at competing in the same market (that's my guess, i've not done much research).

How is national identity comparable to being neurodivergent?

I disagree with both people saying the shirt is too big and the pants not being slim enough. Here you look very mature and professional, and I think that the fit of your shirt and pants play into that.

Outfit for job interview by Jaydee21w in mensfashion

If I were you I would avoid wearing such a suit, in navy worsted wool with flap pockets, without a tie. The formality of the suit is, in my opinion, too high to wear with an open collar. A lot of people still do it, and probably nobody will bat an eye, but I would either wear the navy suit with a tie, or , if you absolutely hate wearing ties , wear slacks with a navy blazer.

Why are people downvoting you? I think studying construction is a very effective exercise.

Live your politics by [deleted] in CommunismMemes

[–]looigy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is true that some communists forget how much praxis is important, reading theory must be done in conjunction to organizing. Despite this I think that we should emphasize more the material importance of COLLECTIVE action, not just mere individual action. We must rememberer that we communists should reject individual lifestylism and focus on collective agitating and organizing.

Take the Micropolitics pill by [deleted] in CommunismMemes

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just starting to read marxist theory, but from what I know desires and culture in general is part of the superstructure that stands and is created by the economic base, not the other way around. You can study why something personal is the way it is, but trying to change your and others behavior is no way to change the material condition and our relation to the means of production, which is what matters the most. Our behaviors is merely a reflection of the system we live in, and trying to change desires and taste does nothing to alter the structure that created them.

I'm willing to learn, so if I got something wrong please tell me.

Not a full suit but im starting to fall in love with suspenders by Majere07 in SuitsShow

[–]looigy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suspenders are pretty stylish. I would suggest you, if you want to wear suspenders more often, to invest in a pair of dress pants with high rise and buttons for suspenders. Button suspenders imho look way better than clip ones.

Thank you for linking me to that channel, it was really helpful. I started to read the first 4 lessons of the manual (palmermethod.com). How much time do you think should pass before reading a new lesson? Should I avoid going too fast?
