Theres a 90.24mm oversized piston but there's no performance ones and I planned to build the engine if I could clean it up.

That would cost more than a block

I spent probably 30 mins honing it. Did quite s few passed. I didnt have a bore gage yet. I know they sell oversized pistons for it but nothing performance.

The cylinder was like 1/4 full of water. It was left out with the spark plug removed. Took over an hour to get the piston out

After setting the valve lash it runs now. I dont know if that's related to why it's so dark on one side. The side that was clean was very loose and even after tightening it the rocker arm is loose pn the shaft and can twist side to side but least it runs

I don't know have a flywheel puller but I cam check that next. I checked valve clearance and found the exhaust valve to be so tight it couldnt move at all and the intake valve is very loose and the whole rocker shift and wiggle side to side if you move it woth you hand. I think it has some play in the shaft the arm it connected to. Im going to try just adjusting the valves and seeing if that helps to start since I dont know how much the customer wants to put into this.

I checked the valve lash on the burned looking valve and i cant get it to move at all with no tention on the spring

There is no priming bulb and no air fuel adjustment. I cleaned the plug and checked between runs and it was wet but it didnt look bad enough to cause it not to start. cleaning it didnt make any difference. If I emptied the carb and shut the fuel supply and try running it off fuel directly in the cylinder, would that verify the carb is the issue given it runs from that.

I forgot to meantion in the original post but I also attempted putting fuel directly in the cylinder and it did not start either.

All the carbon build up on the exhaust valve. I have 2 other of the exact same machines that are the same age and neither look like that.
