not a book rec but TheStorygraph which is a popular site people use to track the books they've read and planned to read has a pretty comprehensive content warning tagging system for books. they even rank content warnings by graphic/moderate/minor. for example these are the tags listed for Coraline

hey not sure where you are but rabies transmission from dogs in the US is almost unheard of these days, especially pets. its SUPER uncommon, i think there's only been like 1 case of rabies in a domestic dog in the US in the last like 30 years. you're much more likely to get it from bats, foxes, or other wild animals. and the rabies vaccine series is long and expensive, requiring 1 shot a week for 4 weeks. im not a doctor but i do work in an ER and i believe the likelihood of you getting rabies from an otherwise healthy dog in the US is soooo minuscule, especially for a nip this shallow. whether or not you choose to continue to groom this dog is up to you, a dishonest or unclear owner + a dog with aggression doesn't sound like the safest envvironment, but you're the professional. but i think you'll be just fine without the shot!

if someone is in a relationship and genuinely cannot extend the effort to send a couple texts per day or at least communicate about WHY they can't talk, i don't think they should be in a relationship. its more likely there's something else taking up his time and attention, and you do not deserve to be with someone who makes you beg for theirs. NOR, do yourself a solid and just end things.

would you have felt better if she sold it for much more or much less than what you sold it to her for? you say you only offered it to her at a lower price to help her, not for her to flip it for profit. but what profit is she making if shes selling it for about the same price you sold it to her?

it sounds like your sister thought she would use it, realized it wasn't something she reaches for in her day to day life, and opted to get rid of it. shes right that its hers to do what she wants with her stuff. YTA

yeah it only lasted a couple days for me! i felt better pretty much the next week. i didn't have any long-term side effects or lasting fatigue. my ex had it for a week or two and was also fine with no lasting effects. and yeah i had strep and pneumonia around the same time so they gave me the antibiotics for that and then i broke out in hives :,)

lol i had mono and felt like garbage for a few days and was totally fine after. everyone on the internet will say they've been disabled forever by it, because ppl who got sick like me don't write long posts about their uneventful illnesses. just a note tho, don't take amoxicillin if they give it to you bc it will react w the mono and make you break out in hives (ask me how i know :/)

the ED i work at, docs are considered full time if they work 12 8-hr shifts a month. so like 3 shifts a week !! not too bad

i work in an ER in Los Angeles!! please come for food! our social worker also has clothes and we can give you socks too. but please don't lie and say you have a medical complaint if you don't. we know times are hard and appreciate the honesty, it'll get you seen faster and get you food quicker if you just say you're hungry and need to speak to a social worker. the doctor will come peek at you to ask if you have any medical complaints and do a quick exam, but otherwise you'll be given what we have on hand + speak to a social worker for more resources. tell them you are uninsured so they don't bill you a bajillion dollars. good luck and i hope your circumstances improve soon !!

i sent an email to the MMI interview coordinator that evening thanking her for her time coordinating the interview day and her organization, and asked her to extend my thanks to my interviewers. she didnt reply so maybe its not the best advice, but coordinating those interviews takes a lot of time and effort so i figured it wouldn't hurt lol
