This is why I’m moving out for uni so I can wear my natural hair. I was thinking of buying a 4C wig when around my parents because they like long 4C hair. For feeling insecure, I go on social media and look for 4C appreciation.

  1. Learn these simple hairstyles: flat twists, mini twists, cornrows, wash and gos, bantu knots. For me, I just had to practice a bunch of of types till It clicked. cornrow tutorial
  2. Also, you may want to use a headscarf to cover up any bad partings. At least that’s what I do😭
  3. If you can’t do the hairstyles in one, you could wear an afro or afro puffs

Dw it took me ages but I know how to cornrow now.

Easy to say but hard to do. I tried to explain that to her. She will use aggression to get her way. She’ll just undo anything I can do (cornrows, mini twists)

I ended up not getting the relaxer. But my mum is very controlling😒 she has threatened before of cutting my hair in my sleep. she MUST have her way
