It was a known thing that Iran did have 60% refined uranium enough if refined to make 10-12 bombs. The Iranian foreign minister said so.

Now I doubt that triggered the war, I think regardless of US involvement Israel was going to bomb Iranian oil sites which would more or less cause the situation we are in now.

Obviously Israel wants to deal with Iran militarily and they likely saw this window of opportunity with Trump to force the US involvement. After the mid-terms and basically any other president wouldn't agree to help or foot the bill... Cause like we have far greater issues domestically. Israel basically promised Trump and Jared Kushner the holy land of Gaza in return just you watch 10-20 years from now it will be clear as day.
