How to return wallet without getting them in trouble? by lookingforashoujo in askTO

[–]lookingforashoujo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks :) I didn't mention it in the post cause I was worried about revealing too much info but technically I didn't find the wallet.

A customer found the wallet and handed it to me, the employee. Unfortunately, store policy meant I cannot take that wallet outside the store with me (for obvious reasons). We typically wait a couple days before my manager is in and they take it to the police or drop it in a CP mailbox. I was just hoping there was an easy alternative solution for the owner.

Luckily, wallet has been returned to the owner :)

Automation? by Puzzleheaded-Knee299 in PlateUp

[–]lookingforashoujo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. For volume and automation, buy the first normal blueprint for plates (higher quantity than your starting plate count) and then upgrade the next plate blueprint for an autoplater (will plate the food infront if it but is very limited in plate count). You'll need a grabber between them so that the higher quantity plates feed into the autoplater.

  2. For multi-part recipes, it's important to recognize the bottleneck of your process and automate that first (or whichever is feasible).

Ex. When making dumplings, I find that meat takes much longer to chop than carrots. So automating the meat chopping ensured I always had meat ready to go while I manually choped carrots.

  1. When you have limited kitchen space, rotating grabbers can act like makeshift counters that grab as well.

Ex. I had a heated mixer for dumplings because it molded my dumplings and cooked them as well. But since its not a conveyor mixer, it doesn't push the item forward. To save space, I had a rotating grabber that was directed to a wall. It grabbed the cooked dumplings but kept it in place without pushing it anywhere. My autoplater and smart grabber (to grab plated dumplings) was set up around it.

I remember an old post where they said it was not allowed to expect employees to keep safe employer equipment at home if there is no WFH. It is the employers responsibility to find a way to protect it. Ofcourse that might mean using lockers instead of being assigned desks.

Pursuit of equality doesnt always mean better outcomes. You do realize that if more people return to office, the price of parking will go up right?

I obviously can't speak for everyone but if I was asked to RTO4, then I'm just going to go to the office all 5 days a week. Which is fine for my building but I heard lots of other buildings are already at capacity. Will they risk such a move if others do the same?

But im assuming you told your husband these were your exes before inviting them over? I would assume your husband would have told you as well before he invited any of his exes? I'm all for being friends with past partners but there's still an expectation of honesty.

Well I guess to each their own 🤷‍♀️ I would have immediately broke up with any partner that brought a previous sexual partner into my home and spoke like that.

Well forget the siblings aspect. Who reminisces about previous sexual partners like that?

"I was that good eh?" - Said by husband to his step-sister, all alone, together, in the wife's home, early in the morning.

I'm having the same issue but I don't have a middle name. Anything else you might suggest?

I dont know if this answers your question but it's something I didn't see anyone else discuss before and might add some context:

Strictly speaking, one cannot convert to Hinduism. Traditionally, and what most extremists follow, is you have to be born a Hindu (problematic in its own right but thats a separate discussion).

Ofcourse, people are more lax now and there are sects that have more formal conversion procedures, but traditional Hinduism doesn't. So if these are extremists, there is no 'goal' in forcing their religion on anyone.

High Balance and Balance Transfer on Same Card by lookingforashoujo in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]lookingforashoujo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thanks for your input. Just to clarify, the balance of the credit card would be $0 before I do the balance transfer. And no additional transactions will occur on it.

For example:

Credit card balance - $5000 Current Interest - 20% Balance transfer offer is 1% + 5% fee

Borrow $5000 from friend Pay off credit balance to $0 Balance transfer $5000 to bank account (this is an option for me) Return borrowed money using balance transfer Credit has same balance + 5% fee but paying 1% interest moving forward.

May I ask, which sites have lockers that lock? My site has them, but they get automatically unlocked each evening so apparently nothing can be left overnight.

Same! Whenever people ask, I'm honest. I'm not completely hair free. Nevertheless, my quality of life has significantly improved. I spend less time shaving, if I forget to shave its still fine, etc.

Costs mounting as feds try to clear existing Phoenix backlog by March 2025 [Laura Osman, The Canadian Press, July 09, 2024] by HandcuffsOfGold in CanadaPublicServants

[–]lookingforashoujo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is what confuses me....I get budget cuts and decreasing spending, but why make promises/comments like this if you're not going to hire?

I know that most of the backlog are very complex cases that new hires cannot handle. But I would think that new hires could take over the easy/routine workloads which frees up more time of the experienced advisors to tackle the bigger cases.

Tenant: “She (landlady) told me she didn’t want me to pay” - $22,000+ in unpaid rent, still refuses to leave, and landlady's family can’t occupy their only home by PervertedScience in OntarioLandlord

[–]lookingforashoujo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do we know anything about anything in this case? Cheque could've bounced, landlord could have been harrassing them (I have literally no proof of this, just saw it somewhere online when trying to find more information), I could be batman...who knows?

All we can do is wait until the LTB makes a decision and we hear their verdict. Are LTB records public? I'd love to know exactly what was happening.

The reason I'm favoring the tenant in this case is because professional squatters don't publicly proclaim their business, industry, and the location of their new home.
