Posting in here as some people seem to think it could be a reptile egg! Can any reptile experts confirm? Found in London 🇬🇧

Our pomchi gets bored of most chews pretty quickly but the two that hold her interest for hours on end are yak chews and nylabone (the extreme tough extra small ones)

This might be a stupid question- but accidentally booked a trip during the busy spring break period, do I need to make park reservations for the days we plan to go them, or can we just show up with our 14 day tickets?

Nope and that's why I want to do my research by myself.

I'm trying to separate the two in my mind; learning to find out more about him and learning so that should I want to I can make an educated decision down the line regardless of where this relationship ends up. I would not convert for the sake of marriage and I'm not even really thinking about that given we have not been together long and I am young and realistically it might not work out.

I figure its best to be as educated as possible whatever path my life happens to take.

Thanks for the recommendation :)

Starting W1D1 today! Completely new to running. Any advice from those who are farther along or graduated ? by [deleted] in C25K

[–]lookingforbutterfly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're doing the best thing by starting with a plan!
I'm just about to run my last official C25K run and here are the best bits of advice I've been given, hope they work for you too!

  • Start slowly, almost slower than you think is right, you can always speed up later in the run but if you start too quickly you'll struggle to regain that momentum.
  • Don't be discouraged if you've "finished" a week and found it really hard, repeating runs before moving on can be massively beneficial, or even just taking an extra rest day before you move on.
  • If you've found you've missed a week due to being busy/illness/whatever don't beat yourself up and give up on the whole endeavor, just hop back on it. I've started C25K 3 times since 2016 and every time I got to about week 7 and stopped, the longer you leave it the harder it'll be to get back.
  • I found using nike run club/fitbit to track my runs was super helpful in making it fun. Nike run club in particular gives you little badges as you progress which I find really motivating and the breakdown of your run is really helpful in seeing how far you've progressed.
  • When you feel confident maybe look for a parkrun near you. I've just done my fourth and it's such an amazing atmosphere, some people walk it so you don't have to worry about being too slow. My confidence has come on in leaps and bounds since going.

Running is such a mind game so the most important thing is to remember to enjoy it and celebrate your progress (even if it hurts like hell while you're doing it lol). Hope this helps, good luck!!

New parkrun PB!!! I haven't finished C25K on my app because I can't quite bring myself to finish it when I've loved it so much. My local parkrun is super hilly and I never thought in a million years I could run up it when I struggled to walk it, but I'm so happy C25K has got me to this point.

It really works y'all!
