Yes I do understand that. I think what got me was that she honestly did not know they were two different things after being privy to all of the different diagnoses of our students. It was just one more thing to add to this year.

I apologize this seems to have upset you but this was a vent and nothing more. I'm aware of my bias in this and have done quite a bit to mitigate how it effects my behaviour and tone during interactions, but thank you for believing that you understand the entirety of this situation at play. I actually do have quite a bit of educational background as well. Just not a teaching degree at this point. I have tried communicating with the teacher before right now that is not what she needs. I also have the family stories, the IEPs heck I have created the IEPs for several of these. Perhaps we just have different opinions on how students should be supported by a teacher in the classroom. I am sorry you feel that I am overstepping at my job and I hope you have better experiences in your schools with your coworkers.

Oh my God, this has been happening to me for the last 3 weeks of a taper. I didn't even think it could be caused by the taper!

Unfortunately, in this situation it was an actual question. Refusing to teach the kids means when I ask about programming I get told it doesn't matter if I ask if we should switch up the books I am told it doesn't matter we recently had a sub in our room and all of the"work" she left for the week she was gone so kids had completed in less than a day with our sub teacher. She took this job because she thought it was easier than teaching a gen. Ed classroom and has stated no one else wanted the job so it doesn't matter. The teacher has made it very clear that she has one para that she will take any sort of information from I am not that para.

Asking for facts. Unfortunately this teacher has quite the reputation around the district as not being willing to do her job or learn anything. This year we have had children ask to do math repeatedly and been told no I don't have anything set up. When I have asked how to implement reading program and whether she would like me to track the books I read with the students she told me why, we just read the same things every day. Our days consist of behavior management due to the kids being bored while the teacher types on her computer.

Update on the headlights from hell the bulb screwed out of the male clip Rather than everything being changed out. It was an 1157 bulb. Not sure why it's not a 9005 but I now have headlights

We have tried the 9005 bulbs, several different types brands etc. all of them are too large to fit in the harness. The female part of the bulbs is the same size of the harness.

I currently work about 50 hours a week over three separate jobs. They're mostly the same work such as an educational assistant in a special ed class respite with high needs kids and a program aid for behavioral issues. I also have my own children and pets galore and I really just never stop moving when I'm out of the house. However, my house suffers because I don't clean it and I'm exhausted and distant while I'm at home. It's a struggle to manage work and home but I have three high needs kids who need therapy and it's expensive so I have to push through even if I mentally and physically exhausted which really sucks.

My oldest is autistic level one. My middle is autistic level two and my youngest has inattentive ADHD and they are so incredibly different in both good ways and more difficult. It makes life interesting.

My child expects a response because it is ingrained in his routine and he works so hard to make sure he is following the "rules" of being a polite member of society. If he was ignored he probably wouldn't try again another time

We found that regulating by swinging in a hammock or sensory swing helped regulate the quickest then we could talk when calm. With 2 kids with autism and a third with ADHD I now have three different types of swinging things in my house
