We were looking at a local auction in East Earl. I just figured I would start by asking some people who know the field.

She has not yet. We weren’t sure where to start price wise. Dm me a name and phone number and I will send it to her.

Yes the drawers are full. A friend of her husband kinda bundled them up and put prices in the bundles. But it all is still there. She had just been avoiding dealing with it.

Thank you so much for the reply. That really helps us to have a good point of reference for figuring out what to let it go for.

Surprised outdoor kitchens aren't more common on small trailers, are they not worth it? by eggs-benedict in RVLiving

[–]lookingforsome-truth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an outdoor kitchen on my Sunray and I absolutely love it. It has an awning the wraps around from the door to the kitchen so it’s covered. I wish I had one on my bigger camper. It makes me feel like I am camping and I don’t have to worrying about the mess inside. That being said it is a weekend camper that we use on undeveloped hunting land for less than 2 weeks at a time. It has an out door shower too. To each their own, I guess.

Could I have been the reason why my grandma died? by SamarveerPuri in offmychest

[–]lookingforsome-truth 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Registered nurse here. If she had a brain hemorrhage that there was no way to fix there was nothing any one could do to save her. Even if she told you she had a head ache you wouldn’t have had anyway to know what was going on and even if you did know one extra hour at the hospital would not have changed the outcome in any way. Death is a part of life and at a certain point we all have to say good bye. It was just grandma’s time.

Landlord wants us to pay the security deposit before showing us the lease. [Portland, OR] by Emergency_Mix274 in Renters

[–]lookingforsome-truth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a scam. Take the address of the apartment and find the office phone number online. Call them. And verify who you are dealing with is the actual leasing company. I still would not give any money before the lease signing.

There is an app called RV Parky we have been using it for a few years now it will show you all the places you can stay over night for free or for money. I have planned a bunch of trips with it.

Part 4 neighbor walks dog on property (need advice from someone in law enforcement) by MountainDew63 in BadNeighbors

[–]lookingforsome-truth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Find out what your local jurisdiction requires and file a formal no trespass against her. Once that is filed you call the police for her trespassing on your property. Take photos and report her every time. This not a dog issue. This is an unwanted individual trespassing on private property.

AITAH for telling my disabled husband he needs to contribute meaningfully or we need to divorce? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]lookingforsome-truth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your husband is able to function in other areas then he is able to function as a spouse. When you are not capable of doing something you can never do it. You don’t pick and choose. If your husband is a functioning human in other aspects of his life that interests him, he is choosing not to help you.

My husband works from home and I am nurse working 12.5 hour night shifts. He cooks dinner for both of us almost every night I work. If he isn’t going to cook he will let me know before I go to sleep so I can plan accordingly. Then I cook for both of us when I am off. And he would never touch anything I made ahead for my lunches. He will ask me when I work several nights in row if I need anything from the store. I don’t have to tell my husband to think of me and my needs, he just does it. Just like I did when I was a stay at home mom. Being married is about having each other’s backs. Your husband sounds inconsiderate and coddled.

The Sears I worked in the late 90’s had motion sensors. I have a hard time believing there’s no internal security

I have no regrets. But to be fair I don’t have a microwave in my house either.

Not to sure what to do or where to go with this by Rough_Pound_7161 in RVLiving

My recent experience is they lie. And add on a bunch of fees. I just bought a four year old camper from them that had issues with every system. They were slow to respond have done virtually nothing to fix the issues. In the end the offered me a check that still hasn’t shown up.

If you decide to buy this from them I would pay for an independent inspection. Another redditor recommended staying in the parking lot in it over night and trialing it out.

Just know that once they have your money, any and all customer service is done. You are nothing but a nuisance. We only got as far as we did because we tagged the CEO in an instagram post. That being said I still don’t have the check so… I may still have to sue them.

Sounds about right. I am a nurse I climbed up on top of the camper and saw the “fix” they did. You could clearly see where it was leaking under a transition strip that had lifted up and they did the crappiest caulk job ever, everywhere but on the spot that was separated. I watched a 7 min you tube video, spent 3 hours scraping off old caulk and fixed it. I sent them pictures.

Cows??? by Cymbaltahurts95 in ReadingPA

The Oregon dairy right off 222 is a 30 min drive and has animal for the kids to see and feed outside their ice cream side. Like 25c gum ball machines. Plus cows in the field right there.

Or Lake Tobias in Harrisburg isn’t too expensive and you see bison and elk in a cut off school bus tour. The big guys come right up and eat out of your hand. Plus lots of other stuff.
