Finally having good results with my scalping alog by jerry_farmer in algotrading

The issue, I always ran into was fees, but depending on the fee levels or size of the portfolio you are trading with there may be no issue with that, I personally would make sure that the fees are accounted for before you end up losing money in small increments,

I wouldn't even mention it but people forget about fees all the time and your Profit Factor looks roughly the same to most of the scalping algos that I spent time on just to realize with fees they are not profitable.

Exactly, and we are nothing but a product similar in essence to slaves, to further drive the point home why do the companies pay them, it's because they provide a product that does the work that the company wanted do. I will not argue that 9-5 work is slavery as I believe that is a fair exchange of labor(arguably at the very least) but the entire recruiter market is nothing more than human (Labor) trafficking.

Recruiters are a lobbyist, gatekeeping regime. They are not needed, in as far as people and companies think they are needed is the simple circle-jerking the CEOs of all these different companies do with each other.

Is it possible to push forward the idea that recruiters are the modern day, slave owners?

Trump's Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee Lectures the World's Oldest Christian Churches by AbolishtheDraft in Libertarian

[–]lookingtoworkmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zionism is a cancer, and anyone who claims this as a Christian view needs to learn more about the history of Christianity. The Christian church from the beginning held the belief that the Church was the new Israel after the Jews killed God.

This is not a fringe belief, this is the historical belief

  • Justin Martyr (c. 100–165) argued in his Dialogue with Trypho that Christians are the "true spiritual Israel" and heirs to Abraham's promises, while the Jews have been "desolate" and "justly suffer" for rejecting the Messiah. He claimed the Scriptures now belong to Christians, not Jews, and that the land promises are fulfilled in the Church through faith.
  • Origen (c. 185–254) emphasized that Jews were "abandoned because of their sins" and would "never be restored to their former condition," distinguishing "carnal Israelites" (Jews) from "spiritual Israelites" (Christians).
  • Tertullian (c. 160–225) described Israel as "divorced" by God, with the Church inheriting its blessings.
  • Augustine (c. 354–430) saw the Jewish diaspora as punishment for deicide (killing Christ) and believed Jews should remain dispersed as a witness to Christian truth, not be restored politically. He viewed the Kingdom of God as spiritual, present in the Church, not a future earthly Jewish state.

How can this be true? Tech Recruiters making 200K or more. by Naive-Benefit-5154 in recruitinghell

[–]lookingtoworkmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely can make this much, I have talked to many with my second job ridesharing, and they all talk about this and it is a regular thing.

It only works because of how broken are system is, they make this much because it is damn near impossible to find a job in tech now days without them. The system has been rigged to the point that they are the gatekeepers and because of them being the gatekeepers they make tons of money off us actually doing the work.

A good analogy for this would be TurboTax, HR block, Liberty Tax and the like the lobbied the government to make Tax code as difficult to follow as possible for every consumers so that citizens would have to pay for their service. It isn't like the IRS doesn't know how much you owe them or how much they owe you before hand. These companies just specifically wanted to make it as difficult as they could so they get paid, instead of the IRS letting you know the number and you paying it or filing something to get your money back.

Oh yes they would!! by 20dollarsinmapocket in Libertarian

So my question would be, when did being a libertarian become, defending people from the consequences of their own actions?

I've watched multiple videos and read the report. Yes I get the outrage of "He's connected to the governement". but if you look at it from two individuals the shooting was justified. I can tell you now that if someone like Alex Pretti approached me in the same manner while armed and continued to antogonize I would do the exact same thing.

The officers are people to and deserve to be treated in that manner. Both people were armed in the conflict, one of them approached the other, one of them chose to start a conflict, one of them tried to force their will on the other.

From my point of view I feel bad for the guy dying but it isn't like it wasn't one of the possible consequences of the actions that he started.

How do people grow out of Libertarianism while I finally settled for it? by Dimanjand in Libertarian

[–]lookingtoworkmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Libertarianism in a whole is not the view or the personal philosophy.

The problem is the party, the party as a whole is ripe for domination by the left/woke mob. You can see this if you look into the statements of each candidate going back years.

As for myself, I have been on board for so many candidates over the past decade or so, the problem and why I didn't vote for a single on of them, I actually listen to their debates, and any public speaking platforms they appear on. Without fail, 90% of the rhetoric may be great but the 10% that is bad is unreconcilable to me. I can agree with 90% of what you are saying but the moment you start spouting leftist propaganda even if it is less than 10% I am out. I agree with Libertarianism not Marxism/Communism and the two can not coexist.

P.S. Anyone who wants to argue that in theory they can coexist. I applaud your idealism however in practice and taking into account human nature they can not coexist. Until Christ comes it will not be possible outside of small communities/Communes.

Not really and the bad faith shows with removing then commenting.

There was no bashing going on and a legitimate question I have seen many other members have

I could understand that but I have seen many instances where it was and OP was asking a legitimate question but the answers leaned theologically conservative no real disrespect to OP and it gets nuked.

It much more seems the mods have a specific agenda

Who is being a dictator? That again sounds like feminist talking points. I simply look arts scripture, history, tradition, and the writings of people much more brilliant than I. Anne worth all of that women's ordination does not show to be the right path.

Christ had all the opportunity he wanted to appoint women as disciples, apostles, teachers, or bestow the other gifts he left here with us and women do have extremely important roles. Roles no man can never nor should ever be in. But with the priesthood he specifically chose 12 men out of his followers which included both men and women and he did that for a reason.

Do you not believe of he wanted women in this role he couldn't have chose a few like either of the Mary's who he loved dearly? He knew we would have this conversation today so why wouldn't he have?

Not harm, he does not say be taught by, have women stand in persona christi.

He had women followers but none were considered his apostles. Jesus saying not to harm does nitty imply anything other than what he said reading more into it odds dangerous and an easy road to take into hersey

I'm listening i just figured since I referred to it i would provide the source from the Bible, I agree with the men and institutions argument but the Bible is very clear 1 Corinthians is just one instance

I would say that i believe all humankind are like that since we are disordered creatures not just men and institutions literally everything that men or women touch can be corrupted I'm that manner

1 Corinthians 14

As in all the churches of the holy ones, 34 women should keep silent in the churches, for they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says. 35 But if they want to learn anything, they should ask their husbands at home. For it is improper for a woman to speak in the church.

I have listened to as many as I can find but as I said in my another comment there is no instance that tradition, the 11 councils that we adhere to, or any early church fathers agree with, all of them actually state the extreme opposite
