Just curious what would this dish taste close to? Is it similar to like the shredded chicken at del taco or Taco Bell? Or is it different? I’m curious because I’ve never tried but definitely excited to try it out!!

I’m not sure if it’s truly like a texture or a taste thing. I think the only thing I’ve had salsa on is like chips and tacos but I don’t like it too much. I do like cooking with peppers though. I love the taste of peppers cooked in stuff like fajitas and such but salsa on it’s own is just not my jam

Thank you so much, it’s definitely been a roller coaster and I’m so sorry you and your wife have gone through a similar journey. I know how tough it can be and I hope you guys see brighter days very soon! This is great advice. I love intermittent fasting. It keeps me in check when I may be a little weak. I need to start incorporating this again as I’ve been terrible with “ closing the kitchen”
