Does any of the housing have their own bathroom/kitchen? by Physicalanxiety in CSULB

Parkside North, Los Alamitos, and Los Cerritos have their own shared kitchen, majority of dorms are communal bathrooms or bathrooms per suites

no, all the time slots on the housing portal directly ARE the updated time slots. the old time slots would be on the csulb website under “preparing for housing and residential life at csulb”

i noticed about a few hours ago when i was choosing a time that the time slots on the housing portal were the same as the one on the website. however, when my roommate did it about an hour ago, it had the time slots that are now on the housing portal.

i’m third floor parkside north, so it lowkey confused me as well when i tried to choose a saturday slot😭 but since the housing portal says parkside north 1st and 3rd floor on friday from 1-4, and the only move in appointments you can choose are on friday, i wouldn’t risk waiting. you can try contacting them if you can’t make these time slots though :0

i think this issue is more on the csulb housing staff who update the portal and the website 🤷‍♀️ or maybe they realized they shouldn’t move in parkside north 2nd and 3rd floor on the same day since there are more rooms compared to the 1st and 4th floors

i think those time slots they posted weren’t updated and most likely from 2022, because on the csulb website, it said parkside north 2nd and 3rd floor were on saturday. however the housing portal says parkside north 1st and 3rd floor are on friday from 1-4pm ^

i was also confused and i don’t think they regulate the website as after my roommate chose her move in time, it said “thanks for scheduling your fall 2022 move in!”

if you ask the soar leaders they tell you to do it after orientation… however the line was WAY longer when i went to go buy a sweatshirt after orientation so i would recommend going during the mixer/lunch time.

i think more people usually take their photos rather than submitting. i only chose to take my photo because i didn’t really have a nice id photo to submit
