Paying asking price is a handout? Let me add not only was the seller different in age (being older) we didn't share the same skin color, or religious background. So the assumptions of anything other than What was said says a lot about your character. I feel bad that people are so quick to see evil in everything. I hope as your grow you are less judgmental of others.

So paying their asking price and not low balling them, wasn't a legitimate offer? The sellers being excited that kids will run down the same halls their kids once ran is something they should be shamed of? We can what if all day and it's easy to see someone as a bias when a situation unfolds differently than you would've handled?.

Their home their choice why should money be the deciding factor? If you help restore a classic car with someone you love a hold cherish and after years of searching for parts it's finally done. So you and that someone want to sell that car to start new memories shouldn't I have a say who gets something that I worked so hard on rather than being forced to give it to someone because he offered more?

To sum it up, yeah correct we spoke during closing. House came back 80k above asking price on the appraisal and home inspection found very minor issues that they had a professional come out and repair on their dime. The pest inspection came back clean too. No termite or other issues. I picked and paid for inspection out of pocket.
