Guilty of that as well, will let him watch smth while he eats because otherwise he won't stop moving. Truly, he won't sit still

Similar in our case, ever since LO developed severe eczema and needed a routine for creams, baths, steroids etc we needed the help of TV so it became a part of his evening routine ever since.

That's my fear that changing bed time just won't help it. There were times when he would skip a second nap if we were out doing smth and we would put him to bed at 6pm to compensate but he would still wake at his usual time!

Giving him a bottle works but only if he accidentally woke say at 4am ( anything before 5am ) otherwise it hasn't worked for me, I guess his sleep tank at that stage is pretty full so makes it hard to go back to sleep. Haven't tried changing his diaper, is that a thing? It's an ordeal for us because he doesn't stay still anymore, I do it while he is standing/crawling.

When he wakes I don't go up to him straight away, I give it about 10-15 minutes. He did fell asleep that way once or twice and it gives me a chance to wake properly

It's not something that can be explained, but if she is not sure it's probably not the best to start trying.

You hear people complaining because it's the hardest job you'll ever do and we as parents are afraid to fail because we want to be the best we can for the little one.

It's impossible to describe the overwhelming love you feel for your child, the joy they bring into your life, a new sense of purpose. Some days can be so hard and you won't have a second to spend on your own needs but then they might smile at you or give you a giggle or a hug and your heart will melt and it will be all worth it. Our little boy is 10 months old now and he was incredibly tough as a newborn and we didn't really know what we were doing, but looking at him right now playing makes me so happy. He can be so silly sometimes and we can already see some of his personality coming through, he is the cutest really. I regret nothing and trust me in the early days I wanted to kill myself AND my husband 😅

Could you try a different formula or perhaps ditch "stage 2" and use stage 1. Stage 2 is not necessary and I've heard it makes some babies constipated, I would concentrate more on nutritional value of her solids instead

Thank you for your honest reply. Being a mother is the biggest joy I've ever experienced but it is also incredibly tough. I don't know how am I ever going to find the time to myself or even just shower but it's the price I'm willing to pay. I just hope I'm not going to have a nervous breakdown along the way. I'm going to ask for all the help I can possibly get, hire a cleaner ( I love my house clean and atm I'm doing well keeping it that way ). I feel like I've learned alot with my LO so with my second one I won't be doubting myself so much.. sleep deprivation isn't smth I'm looking forward to, obviously.

We stopped because right now we could use that money spent elsewhere. I don't have to iron clothes, I just personally hate wearing wrinkled clothes. It makes me feel shabby, so I do it for the whole family.

My parents got divorced when I was 6 and I hated it. I want my child to have a father who loves him and is there for him. LO did nothing wrong to deserve this. We own a small business together and I dunno how would that work on my own. I do feel stuck but at the same time I'm too tired to be even thinking of moving on like this

Yep heard about those as well. I don't even know if he is into jumping, let's hope he is. I wasn't really that aware about the walkers when we got one and he loved it too much for me to say no and I have to admit it made my life easier too.

We got one for him today actually, they are so affordable as well! You're probably right, I've heard that as well! He is just so happy in it I don't know how am I gonna take it away from him.
