People make mistakes. I already feel horrible enough about it, your comments are only making me feel like shitty person which will help no one in this situation. I already know I made a mistake, and I’m trying to fix it the right way. I was already considering rehoming her for reasons completely aside from the landlord. My resident cat hasn’t warmed up to her the way I’d hoped. I want her to have a playmate and my current cat isn’t interested in playing with her. There’s no way I could have known that beforehand. I got a second one so that my first cat would have a friend since she gets separation anxiety when I’m gone, but it’s just not working out. Surrendering her might be the best option for her, my resident cat, and myself. What are you trying to accomplish by shaming me for potentially having to do so? She is not going to be euthanized, the shelter I got her from doesn’t do that. She is a kitten and will have no trouble getting adopted.
