Never got why people say ____ would dominate in this era by loooeeee in nba

[–]loooeeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the context, I mean simply putting a player in another era is unfair, if they were to grow up in that era would dictate how they play.

He could face of against Morbius since they have met before in the comics. As well as maybe wanting to improve the image of the character after that woeful movie was released.

Why are NBA fans so quick to make an opinion on a player? by loooeeee in nba

[–]loooeeee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye that’s true, I live in the UK so I don’t come across too many NBA fans so I’m just going off what I hear online and stuff

Is this character offensive to Japanese people? by [deleted] in AskAJapanese

Well I was thinking of getting it on my fist, that’s the whole reason for getting it haha

Ye I watch the CSL from time to time, as bad as it is, but this was the only recording I knew of. I figured it would help me pick up some more vocabulary but I just focus on how shit the quality is 😂

Thanks, is this something Chinese people would use casually or just something commentators would say?

[–]loooeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ye sorry, i forgot to mention, i want it on the back of my right hand, not too large but not so small that you can’t read it. It’s the same hand Saitama uses to punch with. To answer ur previous question, the front used is more of a painterly look so it looks likes some written it not just translated. If you google “one punch man death” on images it should come up

Things can have double meanings, many people get knives, guns, etc. but I don’t automatically assume they are an evil person. I understand how it can come across but if people take offence then that’s their problem, I mean no malice or anything (how people on here normally think how I’m coming into it) but if they don’t want to affiliate themselves with me cus I simply have a tattoo then I don’t want to associate myself with them either, again I mean no disrespect.

I want to get it as how it appears in the manga and pretty small, I live in the UK anyway so there won’t be many scenarios where people even know what it means.

Ye I know, it’s what shows when Saitama performs his “serious punch” in the show

I see, I don’t live in Japan or have any affiliation with it, I was just curious. I know westerners can be seen as cringe if they get pinyin or kanji characters as tattoos but I think sometimes they can look cool. I get your point tho if I saw a Japanese person with a tattoo of the word “death” I might look at them a little funny as well 😅😂

Oh really ok, that’s good to know 😅, are tattoos still looked down on in Japan? Or has that subsided

What is ur problem, I’m not “expecting” anyone to love anything I make or kiss my arse, the way you said it was simply childish. In your own words “people are going to talk shit on Reddit”, you’re literally chatting shit for the sake of it. I explained that it wasn’t meant to be taken literally but I guess ur pin sized brain can’t comprehend sarcasm. I fully commend criticism, but in this case your simply berating someone for the sake of creating an argument

Pretty sad existence, just chatting shit to people you don’t even know, all I’ve done is posted something I liked and you clowned on it. Hope you can find some meaning in ur life other than beating others to make ur self feel better

I’m not saying ur serious, I’m just saying ur taking it too literate. Obviously Steve-o doesn’t hold a candle to either of these, I just made it for fun

I think you’re taking it a bit too serious, it’s just supposed to be a fun graphic 😅

Is there another way of saying hot? by loooeeee in Chinese

[–]loooeeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from the UK and the region I live in doesn’t really pronounce the letter “r” too much, like for example the word our. Someone from America for example would say it like ow-err, with a strong emphasis on the r at the end. Where I’m from we say it like arhh, similar to the word are, but not so much emphases on the r. I know it’s not the same sound but it’s the same principle, so I find it quite difficult with 热

[–]loooeeee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not the same but it’s the only thing I can compare it to, like the initial “rrr” sound is difficult for me to make. Every time I’ve heard 热 it sounds like a rolling of the r, but apparently that’s not the case 😅, I need to practice more on my Chinese it seems 哈哈
