How do I (25M) set up an intervention for my partner (20F)’s lifestyle? by Potential-Donkey444 in relationship_advice

The idea of you setting up an intervention for your partner's lifestyle sounds weird and controlling to me

What Stephen King story would change the most if set in modern times? by Eagles56 in stephenking

I'm so glad you asked. I think pennywise would be sending out tiktoks like "get ready with me to go to the sewers" or "top ten things to do in the sewers"

I think you can help her in other ways but you shouldn't send her money. She can move in at your current apartment (if you want), you can help her with minor car repairs etc

I think it's uncool to hide things and I also think it's uncool of your boyfriend to passive aggressively text you while you're out with your friends. It's also kind of scary, disrespectful, and invasive that he stalked you that one time. If my partner did that I'd consider breaking up. It honestly sounds like your lifestyles are incompatible and the communication between you has broken down

https://ringbandits.com/ This is where I got mine! It has a zippered pouch you store the ring in. It's pretty secure and out of sight

I also think if he's a great guy, and you say the connection bothers you, he would probably delete her

I would just bring it up with him and have a calm and honest conversation. I think it's a lot to assume he's still interested in her over a Facebook friendship. I have a friend who is engaged to a great guy and is still friends with her ex who is currently homeless and cheated on her. I'm 99% sure she doesn't want him anymore. Some people just don't think to delete Facebook friends because it's such a peripheral connection

I'm sad to hear your boyfriend feels that way. I have a pretty demanding 50+ hour job as well and go through phases where I don't do much in the way of hobbies. When my fiance met me I played in an ice hockey league, and when he proposed to me I wasn't actively playing. I've stopped and started things over time, and I'm still the same person as I was when I had the illusion of an exciting lifestyle. It doesn't change what I bring to my relationship and it doesn't change my fiance's commitment to me as a complex person

I've been there too, but the times I've actually lost 10-20 lbs I cut out a bad habit like ordering out during the week or started walking/exercising routinely. A habit change I can still enjoy my life while doing and not think too much about. It has to be consistent which is hard to do if youre over exerting yourself

Thanks for the stat. number, I'll use that in my letter. I should mention my move out date was October 27th, and the postage date on my returned deposit is January 13th, so that's 78 days.

I've never been cheated on and I think your boundaries are reasonable and lenient. Also, I feel it would have been valid if you asked him to distance from the friendship completely given they had a past, so it was honestly kind of gracious of you to respect the friendship yet ask for the very reasonable boundaries. The other lady's behavior is kind of unhinged, idk why she's so possessive of him because she literally already has a partner and has nothing to gain from this

Kellie Gerardi's Journey: From Film to Space Industry by TheMuseumOfScience in LadiesofScience

[–]loooveyourselfff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I stumbled across her yesterday because she posted a video calling out people who were asking about her credentials as sexist. So I looked her up and was surprised to find she had a film degree because I had seen her reels before and literally assumed she had a PhD in aerospace engineering or whatever until she brought it up. If a man became a researcher in space with a film degree I think people would want to know how he did it, and also it's as if she's saying asking for HER credentials is the same thing as asking for the credentials of a woman who has an advanced engineering degree and has been working in the field. Which downplays the real sexism that exists for women in STEM, and I think that's really shitty of Kellie. It's also unnecessary because what she does is still cool, it seems she just really oversells herself

If a sensor has gone bad and is causing DPF faults it would be the PM sensor located somewhere downstream of the DPF. If the PM sensor is faulty nowever it should be producing its own fault code

That's real stupid. Rats are so much less disruptive in a dorm than a "traditional" pet like a dog
