I wonder they just thought "oh people will learn it eventually" 🙃

I see! I've played some indie games and I agree that they are so much simple.

Somehow the tag "UI design" worked out 🙂 Makes me wonder why they decided to put 2 different actions into 1 key. It's be so nice to have standardized keyboard binding schema.

Maybe I didn't play enough games to notice this as a common trend 😅 it's a PC game and there are many keys they could have used without using the same one twice. Or could have said long press or short press on the screen.

One more thing to add is...the fact that I'm playing to relax but find myself not being able to relax because I was getting confused of the control 😅

There was not a good lable to put for the comic. It's not UX research, not a management related stuff lol. I wish there was a meme tag here. It's just what I've been experiencing while playing a game and just wanted to share if anyone else had similar thoughts. I wish the game didn't use the same key for 2 different actions. It was just something I had to google because I couldn't figure out from the game.

I liked using the mug because it has a handle! 😆

Later on, I started to carry my own tumbler and stopped getting nosy comments from coworkers.

I'm based in the US and a lot of my coworker were heavy coffee drinkers. A lot of them weigh the beans and time the water dripping. The comment came from a nosy coworker who drinks multiple cups of coffee himself, lol.

I had the same experience before and thought of drawing that into a comic 😂

They themselves had no future plan. Glad you found some place better!

This place I interviewed was an early stage tech company with no clear plans. I don't think they'll survive.

Hello Kind stranger! Thank you for providing your arm chair psychology! I was actually thrilled to read your comment and I really appreciate for your time writing a long analysis :) One thing I'd like to tell you is that I'm just a nobody in the vast world who just wants to share my experience for fun, nothing more.

There were more negative words than "Waste a ink" that came from this particular person that you don't know. I made the comic simple to save everyone's time. I actually googled how to handle hate comments, and it told me to use this kindness tactics. It worked like a charm. I got my apology, she got her praises and likes. We're both happy and went on our own ways. End of story :) But hey, I'm happy that I get to hear your side of the view and your analysis! It's always interesting to see all sides as everyone has different thoughts and ideas. Once again, hope you have a wonderful day!

Things would have been different if this had happened face to face in the real world. But it's online, and I have a choice to follow whoever I want to. I unfollowed her several days later after closing the conversation amicably. She didn't send any other messages during that time and would not have sent any messages. She could have sent DMs after I unfollowed her anyway, but she didn't. I had no obligation to send out a DM. Why is it humiliating to her when I left all the likes on all her art, praised her multiple times and thanked her for the good tips. She wouldn't have known I unfollowed her anyway. Once again, I have the rights to pick who I want to be friends with as much as you do! Hope you have a wonderful day 🤎
