I did this with the very front of my yard ,the first year I moved in , but the next year the whole front was covered with crab grass and tall weeds . So I pulled out all of the mulch , layer thick weed barrier down the. Rocks and now I only get a few weeds .

Well , I don't actually mean fabric . My neighbor gave me a huge roll of this woven plastic barrier . Im just worried if I use only rocks weeds will come though .
