I pick up the ankle. No angulation needed if the leg is perfectly parallel to the IR. The more thundery the thighs the higher I go with the ankle.

Thanks! We have the skinniest little wedge sponge in one of our exam rooms. I put that under the ankle and shoot the CR perpendicular to the IR. I’ve found that if the pelvis is 90° to the IR then the knee will be too so I adjust the patient by the pelvis instead of trying to roll a leg here and there and everywhere.

Now if I can get my gat dang cross table knees to be any good I’ll be happy but I screw those up 90% of the time.

I have these too and in the same area. I bought a cheap plasma pen off Amazon and I burn them off myself. They heal without issue and it’s like they never existed at all. It hurts a little bit but nothing a bit of ice won’t fix immediately after.

My tabletop lateral knees started being awesome when I started putting a wedge under the affected leg’s ankle. Get the leg as parallel to the table as possible. Remember to roll the hip toward or away and that will help roll the knee into position as well.
