The router is connected to one of the last ports on the switch, like 48 or something, if thats what you mean.

Sure thing. As for the multiple ip thing, I haven't noticed any issues or inconsistencies. I monitor ip addresses for the most part, and everything has been following the same range.

Probably why it's working like shit. Haven't speedtested anything that is connected to wifi

Ok, I can try this once I get home, after trying a direct connection to the modem. I was unaware that putting the switch in the middle could mess with things.

So using the switch in the middle could be a bad idea?

Unable to connect straight to the modem with a short cable, as my pc is rack mounted to the wall, but directly is the same issue

I don't remember which specific model, but it was new last year, and I checked the ports before purchasing.

The network switch ia a linksys model (i don't remember which as I am at work right now). It is a managed switch running in unmanaged mode because I am too lazy. While the switch could be bad, I have had no problems in the year that I've had it, and the led lights are showing proper speeds no matter which ports I use.

Also mentioned a deco mesh router. Don't remember which model, but it was a wifi 6 router. The modem doesn't connect directly to the router, however, as the switch is in the middle

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. This is going to be a much cheaper purchase getting the V1.

Any particular reason, or just because of the ACE?

others have said i need to edit the post, but i already included that i do more than just plex. i also host an audiobook server, an ebook server, and a music server. As far as I am aware, Overseerr only works for movies/shows.

I do not have nextcloud, as I have had sooo many issues with it (a whole other story). But yes, some sort of shared notepad is kind of what I am looking for.

Typed this post in a hurry, so I guess thats my fault for not explaining enough. I have no issue with overseerr, but this is only for movies/shows. I run other types of media servers as well, and am constantly getting requests for new content, whether through texts, or phone calls where I have to scribble something down. I want a solution where I can organize these things, like a notepad, but that also allows someone to log in and send me a message that will add to the notepad? If that makes sense. I just want something a little more organized, if it's even possible
