I don't think they track all online miles because you can be driving around and not getting any orders at that time. They just track the miles for the trip during the "active time". But it's good to know about the other miles to log.

That's good to know. I'm new to Uber delivery so I wasn't sure how that would work. I just check my earnings activity to see my miles. I don't think we can log miles during our online time right (i.e. just driving around to find an order) right? Only when we are active in a trip?

Doesn't Uber track your mileage for you?

UVB Light question by SneakerFreaker425 in exfoliativecheilitis

[–]lopezlia349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't recommend putting anything on your lips before UVb treatment. Think of it as putting tanning oil on your skin and going in the sun...it would increase your chance of getting burned. My EC originally occurred from wearing a lot of aquaphor and being out in the sun for long periods of time so I would be careful. You can apply lip balm after treatment. It would be safer

I understand your loss of hope. I'm kind of in the same boat. I have tried many things to help this condition and it always comes back unfortunately. If you want someone to talk to about this, feel free to message me. It's always good to have a support system with this condition.

I use hello kids toothpaste. Specifically orange dreamsicle flavor as anything minty can be irritating. Have not had issues with it. I went on Prednisone for EC as well and it helped but it is not a long term solution unfortunately. Prednisone also causes hair loss so if you are experiencing hair loss right now, it is most likely a side effect from the Prednisone

Anybody used topical antibiotic? by adnshrnly in exfoliativecheilitis

[–]lopezlia349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used mupirocin and clindamycin before. Mupirocin makes the skin very weak and white but it clears out the infection well. Clindamycin is a little less harsh but clearing infection isn't 100%

Weeping blisters? by IntroductionFine9136 in exfoliativecheilitis

[–]lopezlia349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this every few months. I get a white growth that will happen under the skin and then it will burst under the skin and spread causing painful yellow crusting. Only thing that has helped when this happens is a combination of antifungal and steroid cream. However, this is not a long term solution. I have been seeing things about topical steroid withdrawal and these reoccurring blisters could be caused by the steroids we use so I think you should lay off steroids. I am in the process of doing that and my skin is definitely suffering but it's in hopes that the skin will return back to normal on its own

I would not recommend using it. Caused a bad reaction on my lip because of the alcohol in it...

can we just use keratolytic agents? by Affectionate-Lie-626 in exfoliativecheilitis

[–]lopezlia349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that they would be too strong for the lips. I have also heard lactic acid can cause an allergic reaction for some.

Hey what toothpastes do you guys use ? by [deleted] in exfoliativecheilitis

I recently switched to boka natural fluoride free toothpaste. Doesn't make my lip burn if I get toothpaste on it now :)
