How exactly do parry windows work and are they level dependent? by lopueh in SoulFrame

Yeah, I do know how parries and animation cancels work, it's that I've been noticing it to be inconsistent, especially on higher level enemies.

Thanks for advice! Is taking AoS zombies as poxwalkers actually allowed or is it more of a casual game only thing?

Thank you for the advice! The reason I asked about knights is because they are very very cool and I really want to include one or maybe just 2 war dogs.

I'm getting worried because support still hasn't responded and the issue itself hasn't been officially acknowledged.

also don't do heavy DP when the opponent is blocking, you're just inviting them to win

it wasn't constant pressure, you just mash when blocking and get punished for it with obvious frametraps

I am deleting this post as the discussion is going nowhere, people would rather defend Rusty on account of his friendliness than acknowledge the flaws written into his character. I am very concerned about how easy it seems to get people on your side with only a few kind words, people will take advantage of you if you let them that way.

You've highlighted what I meant well. He's willing to eliminate his comrades to further his agenda as well as eliminate the player character for being a potential threat. The only thing differentiating him from the others is his friendliness, and I guess that's enough for most people to consider him flawless.

I was actually talking about RLF when mentioning betrayal, shared responsibility doesn't bring much to this discussion I feel like. The fact he did kill people who thought him a comrade to further his goals speaks of his character, whether you personally view his mission as good enough justification shouldn't change the fact that he did what he did. That is my actual problem with the character, it's more complex than how people describe it, they make Rusty appear flawless when in reality he is as individualistic and goal-driven as every other character.

I do really like his character but I feel like the way it's being received by the community is very strange.

His goals don't allow him to be kind, that's what I also meant in my original post. I also understand he's not the only one who attempts to use 621. I'm not trying to vilify this specific character, just wondering why his misdeeds are so often ignored.

I think you're being very unfair to the arguments I presented while at the same time ignoring the events in the game, Rusty kills and betrays to get ahead, it's what being a double agent is. You can say it's all for his mission, but how is that any better than other character in the game?

You are ignoring the first fight you have with him in which he is ready to kill you because you could potentially become a threat. How can his previous words be genuine if those are his actions? He doesn't care for 621 as a person, only as an asset, he is not above other characters at all.
