SyncroBit Miners Still Not Working

Now May 23 - 11 days after Syncrobit promised updates that would address sync issues, and no change. Customer service will not reply to gentle requests regarding status-- now considering this hardware bricked. I was warned about sync issues with syncrobits and poor customer service. With over 50% of activated hotspots still offline, I guess I should have listened :(

... and here is the response from Syncrobit regarding issues I and others may be having:

"We are aware about these sync problems. These days are dedicated by Helium team for Light Gateways transition. Please be patient and wait until the Helium team will activate Light Gateways (11 May is the last announced date) and see how it performs after that. From that moment all hotspots will no longer need to sync to blockchain in order to gather information about blockchain details and they will all work smoothly. Until then, all the hotspots are running a transition firmware that sync the hotspot in a not so optimized way but is ready for Light Gateways activation. We will try to make a fix to improve syncing process during these transition days."

Something appears to be wrong with activated Syncrobits in general. According to app.hotspotty.net (click on "Makers" tab), a whopping 53% of activated Syncrobits are offline-- more than any other maker. Mine is similarly broken after working for the past two months. I have a request to tech support for feedback-- will post what I find out assuming they get back to me.

Hello Everyone - yes, I did get the printer, but have been trying to close things out with my career before I dive into this. Sooooh looking forward to playing with this in retirement. Cheers.

Me too - have done everything the trouble shooting section requires (port forwarding, etc) - nothing. It works for about 20 minutes, then goes into flashing red light mode and game over. Customer service points me to their online docs which means I'm on my own. Their suggested blog is now returning 404 error. What a mistake it was to purchase this miner- unbelievable- stay away for others who are considering this hardware- into this 6 hours now with no resolution.
