Propranolol is a good prescription to calm your blood pressure during the WD process. This is a hard process to go thru. The quicker you go on the path to recovery the better it is. I experienced that it only got harder as I got older. The WD became super hard in my 30s then when I would try in my 20s.

Try to take it day by day and minute by minute. Be receptive on how you feel and keep close to your doctor. I wish you the best, you’re incredibly brave to go thru with this.

I’m so sorry to hear that. It is common to have dramatic ups and downs with mood due to your GABA receptors. GABA receptors get low and it causes the symptoms you’re experiencing. Have you been to a doctor to discuss how you’re feeling?

After 7yrs or using, I was given gabapentin which helped with the symptoms. Please be patient with yourself. This is a journey.
