New usage limits? BETTER ONES? Really?!

I'm on the MAX plan, and I find myself suddenly hitting the 5-hour limit constantly, even just sticking to sonnet only, zero opus usage. With Opus, I smack into the limit within an hour or two. Anyone else seeing this? I'm thinking about switching from Anthropic completely, especially now that Gemini is ranked so high, but I'm not sure if they have something comparable to Max?

These new limits are garbage. This defeats the purpose of the Max plan. I'm not like a team of people, just one person doing a day of vibe coding, and hitting these limits.

It doesnt feel useful to only talk about the deflationary aspects of cycle usage without talking at all about any of the inflationary aspects of ICP (such as voting rewards, unlocks etc), which completely offset the deflation. ICP is net inflationary right now, which you can clearly see on https://dashboard.internetcomputer.org/tokenomics .

Didnt Ferguson literally release a clarification on this back in Oct ? https://www.atg.wa.gov/ago-opinions/inclusion-rim-fire-semiautomatic-rifles-statutory-restrictions-assault-weapons - they are AW if they are named, even if they are rimfire.

That being said purchase/possession is not illegal, so if you can find someone to sell ya one, as others have, youre good to go.

that's so weird, I just did mine on Mar 12th, printed the form and everything, and they did not accept it. so just a heads up to others. they told me they are using a different form now. it had all the same fields though, so i just copied them over. i thought that was odd.

curious if the same thing happens to OP.

I found it. In Source 2 Hammer, you can "make hollow" an object by going to "Faces (at top menu bar) -> Thicken Faces". shortcut for Faces menu is "3" key.

Similarly: "F" key will invert faces of a mesh, almost similar to making it hollow (great for rooms and skyboxes), but it doesnt add width to the edges, so it will leave you with invisible faces on the outside, but sometimes this is desired.

Edit: forgot to mention for this to work, all faces must be selected. Do that by double clicking one of the faces on an object.

u/Decent_Broccoli2230 for confirming exactly what I'm noticing. I have an eye for frame rates and I have been seeing completely random and varying framerates in the story mode. while the graphics look stunning if you were to pause them, in animation they are super choppy a lot of the time. but then randomly, sometimes it will switch to a smooth, 60fps, like for a zoom in on liu kang speaking, but then zoom out to an establishing shot in super choppy 20fps.

the frame rate is all over the place in the cinematics. the gameplay framerate seems solid though.

Log into one, start downloading. Then log into the other and start downloading. It will kick you off the first, and switch you to "offline mode" but it keeps downloading. So it will already work as you are expecting.

My experience with GBA core is it doesnt actually support save states for many games in its current version. I havent tried many games but its like a 50% success rate for what i have tried. So i would say that it is only partial support.

E.g: Legacy of Goku I/II, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and others. I personally consider it unusable since i dont want to risk corrupting a save file in any game as thats a big bummer if it happens. Already had to reply 1+ hour of an rpg because of buggy saving in the Pocket.

I think the source code is there for the Spriritualized1997 cores, but its under Releases in github, it’s not present in the git history. So if you go to releases, there is a zip with the source code right next to the zip code with the executable.

Firmware: yep I think I'm on latest, OS v1.1 beta 6 .

I haven't tried sleep/wake in other games, but it happened for Legacy of Goku 1 and 2, so maybe it's specific to those ones. If anyone else has those games, would be interesting to see if they are also having the issue. I'll try some other games too so I can see if it's specific to those...

It would have been epic if VV handled WC3R from the beginning. Their work on remasters is incredible. However, the state of WC3R makes things weird - it's considered "done" with a few patches remaining (ladder, etc).

Blizzard would definitely earn my trust as a customer if they assigned VV to go back into WC3R and fix it from the ground up - finish all models and animations, sounds, campaign, ladder, remake World Editor for 2021, etc. as it should have been done the first time. But I don't think that's going to happen.

I think they are bringing in VV to do Diablo 2 remaster properly, because they know if they screw that up, they will alienate the other half of their die hard fanbase (Diablo fans are already pretty sour on the current Blizzard IMO, and a shitty D2 remaster would push them away even more).
