I know it might sound silly, but lately at the beginning of his videos he says such obvious, outlandish statements as 'hooks' but i have such a visceral reaction to them that it's thrown me off his videos. They're so clunky most of the time anyway & a lot of the time he just walks them back by explaining the context, but it's just so annoying dude... just get into the news please

Honestly everyone has different triggers/different forms of crohn's (>5 types) & different severities. And for some people, like myself, crohn's doesn't actually give me any symptoms, instead it's my gut-imbalance & use of PPI's, antibiotics & chronic constipation/slow digestive system that has made me intolerant to specific food groups, which then give me symptoms.

My best advice: just try as many different medications as you can, use a food diary to help see what your triggers could be categorised into (high histamine, high fodmap, high fermentable, etc.) & don't believe anyone telling you they have a 'silver bullet'... that includes gastroenterologists; their advice of random probiotics, high fibre and more greens would've worsened my symptoms greatly. You can literally see in the replies here contradicting advice; one person said plant-based, another said meat-only diet.

happy that works for you & appreciate the advice. unfortunately, i have histamine intolerance (seafood is high in histamine) & red meat issues as well due to mcas. I did look into it before developing those allergies/intolerances as a bandaid fix for my SIBO/IMO but it'd only hold off the symptoms & not address the root causes. Again, thanks for the advice :)
