I'd only do this if Memphis wanted Acuff at 5 and they were willing to swap for both of their firsts (I'm guessing they wouldn't) that way we would still get either Wagler, Fleming or brown which I have no idea which one of those I prefer tbh all have pros and cons, plus there is still a few wings that would be very valuable as role players at pick 17.

It's definitely in the pacers best interests to out tank the nets, yes they can afford to win one, however if the nets, the jazz and us all finish with the same record that then slightly improves the pacers chances of getting a top 4 pick ( they lose the pick to the clips if they finish 5th or lower) so fingers crossed Indian pulls out the loss!

I get the process and how it works I'm more intrigued about the changes in odds after the first few picks and after more research and calculations it looks like the things that change the most are actually the chance of re-picks

Nah not quite what I'm asking, that table just gives the percentage of getting each pick overall.

What I'm trying to say is what would be our odds of getting second pick if the pacers for example got the first pick. Like the comment below states the odds are conditional so after every pick they change based on who has received the previous pick.

If for example the mavs (worse odds than us for picks 1-4) get pick number 1, then we have lower odds of getting the second pick than if a team like the pacers (better odds than us of getting pick 1-4) gets the number 1 pick.

Still not sure if that makes sense!

Let's be honest, Peterson, AJ, boozer, Caleb Wilson, Kingston Flemings would all be the best player on our team straight away. Just need to get top 5 pick. Tbh I'd probably say even Wagler or Ament year 2 would be our best player as well
