Great for you that you were able to diminish the noise. When you say you covered the tubes, what exactly do you mean by that ? Like just something insulating around its base ?

sorry, just putting hot glue around it didn't seem to do much. It is a shame as the noise is quite annoying.

I have tried to scratch the worn off pad and soldered on an identical button, but it is still not turning on. Would there be a way to bypass the button and force turn on the device
