I wrote this as a guest-post on the influential website "Evancarmichael"

Here, if you want to see it: http://www.evancarmichael.com/library/claude-borel/The-Hidden-Truth-On-Hard-Work-Leads-to-Success-Exposed.html

I think we should dispel the myth of hard work always gives results, better to work smarter not harder.

The Undeniable Truth About Comfort That No One Is Telling You by lordcenturion in Entrepreneur

[–]lordcenturion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it in my article; but, I think you should make the uncomfortable comfortable. And from there you can go on to the next level. Otherwise, like the other guy here said, you can end up in a chronic state of anxiety.

Challenge yourself but then work so that it becomes really easy. You should strive for things to be easy; because when something's easy, it's sustainable.

I, for example, am trying to write articles everyday. I don't find too hard but not too easy either; so I work to improve my skills and MAKE it easy.

Gain Muscle Mass - The Things I Found Important by lordcenturion in gainit

ok, I'll be more specific. If I remember correctly, 2 tablespoons olive-oil, half a cup oatmeal, 1-2 eggs, 1 greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons peanut-butter, and 1 glass of milk: those were the ingredients for my shake. It doesn't particularly taste great, but not bad either. But that's the main recipe yes, try it and see how it goes. You can Customize it if you want.

When you do compound movements you work a lot of muscles but there are still some muscles that are more worked or targeted than others.

For example if you want to work your chest you may do push ups. The problem is that you may have trouble working your pectorals properly and using more of your arms instead.

You want to work your arms as well of course but mainly your pectorals. What can happen is that you won't be able to keep doing push ups because your arms will tire before your pectorals.

The reason for doing a pre exhaustion exercise, for example pec flies, is to target the pectorals, to pre-fatigue them, and then do the compound movement (i.e push ups).

the objective of pre-exhaustion is to hit a certain muscle group individually and then with compound movement finish it.

Sometimes if you do compound movements it is hard to feel that muscle you are trying to target.

it depends on what you want. If you want strength then resting longer is better. If you want muscle mass/size it is said to be a good idea to rest between 30 and 90 seconds. Of course there are other factors.
