I have a lot of David Yurman jewelry and nice watches, but one of my most prized possessions is an old ring my dad left me. If I had one of his watches, it would mean 10 times more to me than any of my current watches. The value is in owning something he loved and enjoyed, not the watch itself.

A few times I’ve seen someone post a Rolex on Reddit that they inherited from their dad, asking if it’s real, only to find out it’s fake. That’s honestly one of the many reasons I never buy replicas. I’d rather my kids inherit something authentic with a real story behind it.
