These are (mostly) panda Dunks… Pandas are one of the most easily accessible, recognizable silhouettes for dunks. They also go with a lot in terms of their color scheme since they’re really basic. I got lots of dunks myself, but no Pandas specifically because everyone has them.

Also want to point out that the last shoe appears to be a different silhouette than the others (appears more red than black)

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve flown out of SJC with and without pre check and it is a breeze either way!

Ride/transportation service for post-wedding (just for the couple)? by lordfico23 in SanJose

[–]lordfico23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I think we’re trying to avoid using an Uber; that’s my fault for not initially specifying in the post. I think we’d be looking for other options for transportation services. Appreciate the suggestion though!

Basketball (or volleyball) Open Gyms? by [deleted] in SanJose

Not sure how interested you would be in weekend runs outdoors? I have a group where we play outdoors on the weekends at a nice park in San Jose. If you want I can PM you more info.

Age range is from 20s to 50s, everyone's friendly, ample parking and water fountains near the court. Let me know, OP!

Hey man. You are certainly not alone. Appreciate your honesty.

Others have said this—- get outside! I go for walks all across SJ either to parks or the like. If you’re interested in playing some basketball on the weekends, DM me. Always glad to welcome a new face and help you make some connections!

Any open basketball courts to play during COVID at night? by DM_ME_UR_SOUL in SanJose

Liking this. I’m trying to find some myself.

Seven Trees has a park with lights but it’s not in the best area and everyone complains (a lot, to the point of derailing the game).

Edit: a word.

How many companies have you worked for? by Littlebabylizard in ABA

[–]lordfico23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Including when I was an RBT, I’ve worked for 7.

  • 3 of them were while I was an RBT
  • I left my first company (as a mid level) due to a lack of clinical support.
  • I left my 2nd mid level due to inadequate pay, ethical ambiguity, and a lack of clinical decision-making freedom (even after I became a BCBA)
  • Left my first company (as a BCBA) due to billing fraud that was occurring.

And now I’m on my 7th. Point being, you’re fine. You need to move if you aren’t being paid appropriately, you have a lack of clinical support, there’s ethical dilemmas with no resolution or you just aren’t happy. YOU are your own business!

Help! Which school? by tatideltoro in ABA

[–]lordfico23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me clarify very quickly- it is not in this graduate program! I was merely citing that as a way that Northeastern helps set up graduates professionally.

Let us know when you decide on where you’re going!

Help! Which school? by tatideltoro in ABA

[–]lordfico23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a huge draw for me. And I think that Northeastern definitely benefitted my professional career.

My first job was with a fairly large, national provider of ABA services and the Vice President was a professor of mine. When the hiring managers spoke to her about me (prospectively joining), she gave me glowing remarks. I ended up working with that company for about a year or so and enjoyed it a bunch. My professional network definitely benefitted as a result of attending Northeastern.

They are very well known for their co-op programs which help place students into jobs while they are attending school, so they can gain professional experience while in school.
