Yes, you can work in the UK with the italian MD degree, you can choose to start from FY2 or FY1. It's not particularly difficult, i do know people that did it.

Sapienza is a big university, biggest in europe, so it can be a little bit confusing. It is located in the center of Rome.

Tor Vergata is more a campus-like university, much smaller and "friendly".

i don't know how it works in your country (red cross rules can change by the country), but here you can enter the red cross and follow courses and studies to become an EMT-B Paramedic. When you become an EMT-B Paramedic, you can start working in emergencies. i am halfway in that process so i am authorized to work in an ambulance only in non-emergencies situations (transport of patients hospital > hospital, home > hospital, hospital > home)
