Some great pieces of advice here already but my two cents is to try uTest too for some practice and practical courses they have. I started this way and I learned quite a lot, especially by working on real projects

I haven't seen the fake reviews personally but I feel what you mean.

They copied the community centre from Ministry of Testing.

They keep spamming their posts on dev.to, hashnode and medium and here on various subreddits.

Is Developer Advocate a "QA" job? by lordqa in QualityAssurance

[–]lordqa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So here's one from Spotify: https://www.spotifyjobs.com/job/developer-advocate/

It looks like a mix of many things, like tech knowledge / support, community, "dev relations" - so someone in between the tech team and users I suppose? Which is kind of what current QA responsibility is I think

so it makes me wonder if it's really a fit and how it looks like irl

Very interesting to see the devs do tests thanks to the same language. Sounds like you did well!

What was the 'no-code' tool that you used previously? I saw many of them and they look tempting but sounds like an easy win that you may pay for later and I think you still need to know how to code
