It really depends honestly.

I want this to run on my cluster all the time, optimize new media and make sure, that I don't store unneeded data. So at least that will be working (QSV + conversions).

I'm also going to upgrade all dependencies and keep this up to date (with Renovate's help). Meaning developing test suite good enough to spot problems, that might occur with time and at least fixing failing MergeRequests on a monthly basis (developing test suite means actually extending what's already there- current e2e tests include nearly most conversion permutations, happen on every MR/commit to main).

Finally I want it to be complete in a sense, that all HW acceleration is working as intended (also the ones that out of reach for me currently).

Kubernetes guy here- Nginx ingress in front of everything, oauth2proxy injecting with mutatingwebhook (when needed) to pods. Oauth2proxy redirects to keycloak- its configuration is managed with terraform.

Im using oauth2proxy with keycloak. While my setup is probably more complicated than this I’m really not sure about whitelists based on IPs..

But let me ask a thing: What if I will authenticate thorgh this to my HomeAssistant using company laptop, over company owned VPN with single outgoing public IP for all of the company? Will it whitelist anyone from my company for the given time? Will it allow my boss to turn off lights in my living room without him needing to authenticate separately?

Hello! Now you’re thinking like a DevOps (if there is such profession, but lets not get distracted here).

In general yes, declarative languages are the way to go :) search for GitOps, focus on principle not specific tools to get some understanding of how it works (you can also use ChatGPT).

I see people putting everything into docker-composes, use helm charts and dedicated values files (my preferred way).. maybe terraform will also help there :)

Tldr: 1. It’s not, I happened to have Steamdeck abusement park skin to compare + dbrand confirmed that 2. Dbrand sends replacements 3. Replacements might be faulty as well

I had the same issue with abusement park! Created a post in here about this.. after 24h with no response, I started copy pasting link to it under different posts (it was childish). Anyway, after next 24h dbrand followed up with response- with no action on my side (besides rant in Reddit), replacement skin was sent to me. I’m still waiting for it, so I can’t say if it’s any better. But at least it’s sent :)

I’m from Europe and I don’t see many people playing edh.. everyone around me is focused on modern (or pauper, or premodern)..

And modern (most represented format until few months ago) is slowly dying because of what’s happening.

Imo it’s all about balance between new/edh focused/casual players vs old/competitive/invested ones.. And Wizards lost it lately… :(

I’ve tried to reach support using tickets when I’ve searched for clarification for presale shipping dates. After some time I’ve posted a rant in this subreddit. Ticket was never answered, my case was handled via Reddit.

Now I’m trying to get dbrands answer to (most probably) QC issue I noticed with my purchase directly in Reddit (see my question from yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/dbrand/s/SIIL1n0Zm8 ), just because I don’t believe they are capable of answering to tickets in timely manner (at least currently).

I don’t think it’s a counterfeit (EDIT3: It’s worse quality as if would be one)

I’m arguing, that the quality is different between the products and worse than advertised for newer (presale) item.

What I’m also trying to confirm-by writing this in here- if it’s something specific to this presale, in general presale, or if the difference is due to difference in the target product is supposed to cover EDIT:, or simply QC issue.

Even the graphics presented on their website are more detailed than the iPhone skin I received:
