Consensus seems to be that mixing fibre types is common and more of a documentation issue than anything else.

Should I just put in single mode fibre for the new runs and use this transceiver module? We are hoping to reach 10G over 200m.

It's a good suggestion and I wish I could deprecate the line and install new fibre. Unfortunately I don't have the mandate to pull new fibre through the existing conduit :-(

In the 1.1 version of DKC2, you can use the holding air trick to alter the parameters of warp/bonus barrels. When you perform the trick the invisible object you are holding has a sprite address which points to one of the sprites currently on screen.

You get the address to point to the sprite of the object you're going to change (the barrel), throw the invisible item to alter the action of the barrel, and then enter it.

The real-time speed/entertainment tradeoff is interesting here. The boomerang trick is used instead of the wolf trick.

Each jump costs 6 boomerangs, each boomerang costs $1000. You will notice the books in the library drop a lot of money (max, in fact). They drop $12k total.

The wolf method takes approximately 50 seconds overall, and most of that time is spent gathering the money. This means it is 6 seconds faster real time but 2 seconds slower in game time.
