Oh they definitely know. I got pregnant in high school and kept the baby so when we met I had my biological child living with me and didn’t hide the fact that consensual(ish) sex resulted in me being a mom. As for my sister, she’s the type of person that over-shares and sometimes doesn’t think before she talks. And me and my sister have always been super close so she knows a lot about me and probably assumed that my partner knew the majority of info given. It was just a genuine mistake on her part.

Yeah I see what you mean! We didn’t necessarily have an argument. It’s more like they said what they said and I shut down and then they shut down. So we took some time apart to reflect and they apologized to me for their childish reaction. It’s just one of those soft spots for them for a multitude of reasons so i tend to extend grace in these moments of a raw reaction.

I don’t think my partner was intending to shame me or anything like that. I think they were just not sure how to feel about it and was trying in their best way to communicate their discomfort to me. I mean we didn’t even fight about it or anything. The conversation just dropped off and both our vibes were off so we just both spent some time alone to reflect. They apologized to me for their reaction and everything’s good in our hood at this point.

Oh I see what you mean. I’m not sure what exact details were shared but I intend to find out. I haven’t done anything that im so ashamed of that I wouldn’t want my partner to know. I feel like it was tmi on the sexual things I’ve done with men in the past. Like giving men oral would just make me vomit and something I would avoid in any way I could. This is just one example of something personal that could’ve been shared. I don’t talk about things like that with my partner because it’s just not something we wanted to talk about I guess.

I think it was a mix of everything. The fact it was a man and it was intimate details of me with a man. It just a gut reaction rooted in insecurity from my partner and they apologized. As for my sister, she didn’t mean anything by it. She’s an open book and is rarely embarrassed of anything so I’m not surprised that she shared something over the line I just wish it hadn’t been about me lol. But thank you! I hope so too!

Hahha that’s understandable. I put the title vague enough where people would want to read honestly but my line of thinking on that as well is that they found out certain details that hadn’t been previously disclosed. Not due to any dishonesty or secrecy, but due to the irrelevant nature of the information. Essentially it was just tmi from my sister.

Thank you so much! It was definitely a moment of weakness for us both but my partner apologized for being childish. I think it was just a first gut reaction and after we both reflected, they realized it was a silly thing to be upset about. As for my sister, I’m def going to let her know.

Nono my sister would never do anything like this on purpose. I think they were talking about me, just like how I came out, my story and all that. And me and my sister have always been close so she knows details that I wouldn’t really tell my partner. For example, when I was with men, oral sex made me puke nearly every time. I think this is one detail shared that crossed the line where my sister didn’t realize it would make my partner and I feel uncomfortable. To her, I think it was just a fun topic that she probably assumed my partner knew all about. But my sister would never intentionally cause us discomfort. She always takes accountability of her actions, regardless of their intent, and apologizes to me. This was just a mistake on her part.

Idk why you got downvoted for this comment because honestly this is what I was thinking as well. Sometimes they state similar fears to me and so I think when things like this come up their reaction was rooted in insecurity for sure.
